Heather Gilman, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Heather joined the Millett team after a few years in the Houston Medical Center with Methodist Hospital Orthopedics. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology in San Antonio and her Masters degree at the UNT Heath Science Center in Fort Worth Texas. Heather is originally from South Texas but now calls Austin her hometown. She enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, biking, and the Colorado mountains.

 

 

 

Je Anne Halde
Surgical and Practice Coordinator

Jeanne_HaldeJe Anne is Dr. Millett’s surgery scheduler. She oversees all aspects of surgery scheduling, including pre-op testing and patient education. She also works closely with Susan coordinating Dr. Millett’s schedule. Je Anne received her BA in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado. Before moving to Vail in 2009, she spent 10 years as Medical Assistant and Exercise Physiologist for a Cardiologist in the Boulder area. Je Anne is a native of Colorado and enjoys most outdoor activities, travel (usually to exotic locals), and riding her Harley. 

 

 

 

Gordon Hart, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Gordon-Hart-PA-CGordon Hart comes to the Steadman Clinic from Calgary, Canada by way of Phoenix, Arizona. In 2005, he completed his physician assistant training degree at the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Gordon had a long career in professional hockey and served as the head athletic trainer for the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes (10 years) and the Winnipeg Jets (3 years). An avid sports enthusiast, Gordon was also an outstanding player in his own right. He was a member of the Canadian National Championship hockey team at the University of Calgary, where he was a scholar athlete.

 

 

Dirk Kokmeyer PT, SCS, COMT
Director of Physical Therapy
Howard Head Sports Medicine – Denver
  
Dirk-Kokmeyer-PT-SCS-COMTDirk Kokmeyer directs the rehab team that works intimately with Dr. Millett's patients. Dirk graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Hogelschool van Utrecht School for Physical Therapy in the Netherlands. A native of Falmouth, Massachusetts, he began work with the Howard Head Sports Medicine Centers in Vail, Colorado in 2000. He received his Orthopedic Manual Therapy Certification (COMT) in 2005 and his Sport Certified Specialist (SCS) certification in 2006. He was promoted to lead physical therapist for Dr. Millett in 2005 and then was selected to run the Denver Howard Head Clinic in 2008. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and specializes in sports medicine, manual therapy, manipulation and rehabilitation of knee and shoulder injuries.

 

 

Brandie Martin MS, ATC, OTC
Clinical Coordinator, ATC

BrandiBrandie joined the Millett team after spending three years as an athletic trainer at Howard Head Sports Medicine and as the athletic trainer for the US Women’s Alpine-Tech Ski Team. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming , her master degree in Sports Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi and was an ATC Fellow at the Steadman clinic in 2006. She is from Eagle, CO. She helps coordinate Dr. Millett’s clinic as well as community outreach.

 

 

 

   
      
     
Susan Sabido
Practice Director

Sue_SabidoSusan Sabido is Dr. Millett’s Practice Director.  She has a diverse background in medical practice management and is passionate about ensuring that each patient under Dr. Millett's care is treated with the highest level of customer service. Originally from South Africa, Susan has traveled the world and brings her experiences to the office of Dr. Millett where she believes “these worldly experiences make all of us more compassionate and tolerant toward individuals with different outlooks on this world.”  She is excited to assist Dr. Millett and his patients with compassionate and service-oriented care for their orthopedic injuries and conditions.

 


 

Paul Westgard, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS 
Lead PT for Vail

paul-westgardPaul directs the rehab team that works closely with Dr. Millett’s patients. Originally from North Dakota, Paul received his BS in Corporate and Community Fitness from North Dakota State University and his MS in Physical Therapy and DPT from the University of Colorado. He is board certified in orthopaedics and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Paul enjoys treating athletes of all ages from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete and has a special interest in treating shoulder pathology. On his off days Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 dogs along with snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, and competing in an occasional sprint triathlon.
