Abstract:

Pathology of the rotator interval is often overlooked even though it is a significant cause of shoulder pain. A narrowed coracohumeral interval can lead to subcoracoid impingement and pain. The purpose of the study: “Coracoid Impingement-The Association Between Coracohumeral Interval Narrowing and Anterior Shoulder Pathologies”, is to determine whether the width of the coracohumeral interval (CHI) on a routine MRI is related to the pathologies of the rotator interval.
