Peter Millett, MD, MScOrthopedic Shoulder Specialist
Dr. Peter Millett is an orthopaedic surgeon and partner at the internationally renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. Consistently selected as one of the “Best Doctors in America,” Dr. Millett specializes in disorders of the shoulder, knee, and elbow as well as all sports-related injuries. Brian DavisPhysician Assistant
Brian joins Dr. Millett’s team with over twenty years of orthopaedic experience. Brian started his medical journey as a paramedic in Southern California for five years while completing his undergraduate work. Later, Brian pursued the Physician’s Assistant Program at Western University where he graduated as a PA-C in 1992. Seventeen years ago Brian relocated to the Vail Valley where he has gained the majority of his experience. Brian stays active in the community, volunteering his time with disabled children at Round Up River Ranch and helping Disabled Veterans. Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and twins. His interests include sailing, fly fishing, and horseback riding.
Jason KronPhysician Assistant
Jason Kron joins Dr. Millett’s team as a Physician Assistant with an extensive background in emergency medicine. After his experience as a patient of a Physician Assistant, Jason was inspired to purse a career as a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics. He received his Master’s Degree from Emory University’s Physician’s Assistant Program in 2012.
Prior to returning to school, he worked numerous years in fire and rescue in Atlanta, Georgia. There, he specialized in hazardous material and mass crisis emergency response. In 1997, Jason received his Bachelor of Science in Recombinant Genetic Techniques from Western Kentucky University. Jason is an avid mountain biker and adventure racer, who never misses the Kentucky Derby. He and his wife have three young boys and lovingly declare their home “casa de chaos.”
Gordon HeartPhysician Assistant
Gordon is a nationally-certified physician assistant specializing in surgery and orthopedics. He is originally from Calgary, Alberta Canada and graduated from Arizona School of Health Sciences with a masters in Physician Assistant studies. He is known in the clinic for his excellent bedside manner and patient care. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Gordon had a long career in professional hockey and served as the head athletic trainer for the National Hockey League’s Phoenix Coyotes (10 years) and the Winnipeg Jets (3 years). An avid sports enthusiast, Gordon was also an outstanding athlete in his own right. He was a member of the Canadian National Championship hockey team at Mount Royal College, where he was a scholar athlete. His interests include mountain biking and fly fishing.
Camille TaylorAthletic Trainer
Hailing from Topeka, Kansas Camille joins us as Team Millett’s clinical athletic trainer. She attended undergrad at the University of Kansas where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Athlete Training with a Psychology Minor. After college, she moved to Auburn, Alabama to work at Auburn University for the Women’s Soccer team. Starting her clinical athletic training career, she then started working at Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. While in Vail, she has loved getting the opportunity to ski every weekend. Camille also enjoys traveling, working out, and most importantly being an Aunt to the world’s cutest kiddos back in Kansas.
Brooke M. DelVecchioPT, DPT, OCS
Brooke was born and raised in North Dakota and received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Minnesota State University—Moorhead. Brooke moved to Colorado soon after completing her undergraduate degree, where she spent 5 years whitewater rafting and skiing prior to returning to the Dakotas to attend graduate school. Brooke obtained her doctorate in physical therapy from The University of South Dakota and returned to Colorado to work at Howard Head Sports Medicine in 2010. As a former member of the U.S.Women’s National Raft Team and an avid mountain biker, skier and hiker, Brooke enjoys living and working in the Vail Valley. Brooke received her board certification in orthopaedics in 2015 and enjoys working with clients of every age and ability. Brooke treats a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries and is the team leader for Dr. Millett of The Steadman Clinic.
Olivia NeffAthletic Trainer
Olivia was originally born in Texas, and grew up throughout the United States as both of her parents were serving in the United States Air Force. Olivia received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Seeking to further her education and get a change in climate, Olivia accepted a graduate assistantship position at the University of Florida. During her time at the University of Florida, she worked in the Department of Recreational Sports where she had the opportunity to work as an Athletic Trainer for various unique sport club teams while also earning her Master of Science Degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training.
After her two years in Florida, Olivia moved to Vail to complete her Athletic Training Fellowship at The Steadman Clinic. Recently completing the program, Oliva now joins Dr. Millett’s team as an Athletic Trainer. Olivia enjoys traveling, cooking, being outdoors, exercising, drawing and relaxing with friends and family. More recent exciting news includes her marriage to Nathan Neff, a Physical Therapist with Howard Head. Although temporarily living in Vail, they have big dreams of owning a tiny home someday.
Amanda RakowSurgical Scheduler
Amanda joins our team from Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Indiana University to purse a degree in Sports Marketing. Deciding that her passion for helping others was calling her elsewhere, Amanda received her Surgical Technologist degree and began working at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. During her time there, she scrubbed in with Pediatric surgical cases, assisting in Orthopedics, Plastics, Genitourinary and Neurology.
Wanting something a little more than what the Midwest had to offer, she moved to Vail, Colorado in 2014 and started working at the Vail Valley Surgery Center. There, she scrubbed in with surgical cases assisting all of The Steadman Clinic physicians. During her 2 years in the operating room, Amanda specialized in assisting Dr. Millett’s surgical procedures. In 2016, Amanda received the opportunity to officially join Dr. Millett’s team as his Surgical Coordinator. Through her hands-on experience in the operating room, Amanda brings a unique knowledge base and expertise to help assist patients through the surgical process.
Amanda is a die-hard dog lover and enjoys mountain biking, getting swole at CrossFit, and all things creative. Between Winter and Summer in the mountains, Amanda prefers Summer. Amanda and her husband Ryan live in Avon with their energetic puppy rescue Fiona.

Sarah joined Dr. Millett’s team as the Clinic Coordinator after graduating from Pima Medical Institute as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Denver, Colorado. Sarah grew up in San Diego, California, and moved to Colorado in 2015 to be closer to the mountains, but she still loves going back to San Diego to see her family and hit up the beach! When she first moved to Colorado Sarah worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 2 years in Boulder, and loved the hands on experience with patients. After she earned her PTA degree she moved to Vail to live with her boyfriend and hasn’t looked back since!
When she isn’t at work, Sarah loves doing anything outdoors, specifically snowboarding in the winter and hiking and rafting in the summer. She also loves traveling around the world as much as possible. Some of her favorite places have been Banff, London, Italy and Belgium.
