Dr. Peter Millett, orthopedic shoulder surgeon in Vail, Colorado, was recently honored with the Clinical Excellence Award by the Vail Valley Medical Center. Vail Valley Medical Center President and Chief Executive Officer Doris Kirchner honored the 2011 winners for Physician of the Year, Rising Star and the Clinical Excellence Awards which were presented at an annual ceremony recently. Dr. Millett received this honor because he is committed to research and providing the highest level of medical care to his patients. Nominees and winners of the awards are chosen by more than 200 peers, physician leadership and hospital administration.
