Laura Bell – Reece Bell’s Mother Reece Bell 2017 US Ski Team U16 National Slalom Champion
“Reece Bell is the 2017 United States Ski Team Slalom Champion. After receiving her title Reece dislocated her right shoulder and tore her labrum. Dr. Millett repaired the tear and checked in with Reece throughout her recovery period. He also kept both my husband and I in the loop from our initial meeting through her release to snow. It was very comforting to know that he was looking after Reece’s best interests long after surgery. His team coordinated and communicated with the physical therapists and chiropractors Reece saw during her recovery
After a nine month absence of racing Reece raced her first slalom as a member of the British Ski Team.
She started the two-run race with a bib number of 89. She won the race with almost a half-second margin and most importantly reported she had “no shoulder pain” after bashing numerous gates. Thank you to the entire Millett team!”
