Abstract:
Effects of Alendronate on Particle-Induced Osteolysis in a Rat Model: Particle-induced osteolysis is currently a major problem affecting the long-term survivorship of total joint replacements. Alendronate is a third-generation bisphosphonate that blocks osteoclastic bone resorption.
