Surfing, NCAA Division 1 Soccer Player

My son had an injury to his sternoclavicular joint. He went to 4 orthopedists who specialized in shoulder surgery over 18 months. He was told it would heal on its own by 2 doctors and 2 told him the surgery was too dangerous. We sent his CT scans to Dr Millett. Dr Millett called my son personally to tell him he could do the surgery.

He flew to Denver on a Monday, had the surgery, and returned to North Carolina on Friday. After 4 months of physical therapy, he began to sleep comfortably for the first time in 18+ months and after 6 months he was teaching surfing, surfing himself and is now playing soccer again.

Having an active son return to his active lifestyle is a gift for a father that cannot be measured.
