Dr. Millett previously served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School, where he performed orthopaedic surgery, taught, and conducted medical research.  He continues his research today at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute. INNOVATIVE ARTHROSCOPIC SHOULDER SURGERY TECHNIQUES

The CAM (Comprehensive Arthroscopic Management) procedure, pioneered by Dr. Millett, is an advanced arthroscopic shoulder surgery for treating osteoarthritis that has been clinically shown to decrease pain and improve joint function.  It helps young, active patients with arthritis preserve their joints and older patients delay or avoid shoulder replacement surgery.

Dr. Millett is frequently invited to train other orthopaedic surgeons from around the globe on procedures such as:

• CAM arthroscopic shoulder surgery
• arthroscopic double-row rotator cuff repair
• Latarjet procedures (bone grafting of the glenoid) for shoulder instability
• proximal humerus fracture repair
• shoulder replacement surgery
• reverse shoulder replacement surgery 

He is also well known for treating less common conditions, such as:

• distal biceps rupture
• snapping scapula syndrome
• arthrofibrosis of the knee
