Dr. Millett served as a host for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) International Scholars program. Orthopedic surgeons from around the world with minimal access to orthopedic resources are given a scholarship that allows them to visit top orthopedic surgeons in the United States. This year, Dr. Millett was selected as a host surgeon and welcomed a surgeon from South Africa to Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Millett said, “It was an honor to be part of the scholarship program. I hope the information and skills learned during the program will help patients in the home countries when the scholarship doctors return.”
