scaled.10_t650Larry Ruvo, wine expert and philanthropist and VP/GM of Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada, recently showed up at the Bellagio in Vegas with a decorated sling on his left arm for the 15th annual Keep Memory Alive Power of Love gala.  Ruvo, who founded the Keep Memory Alive foundation, recently injured his arm while skiing along side Cindy Nelson, a champion downhill skier for more than a decade and winner of the bronze medal in the 1976 Winter Olympics.

Dr. Peter J. Millett, shoulder specialist for the world famed Steadman Clinic, performed the surgery to the upper arm which consisted of more than fifteen fractures to the humerus.  Ruvo is expected to make a full recovery.
